In 1994 the Adelaide Rock ’n Roll Club Inc. was formed by a small group of enthusiasts keen to see the renewed interest in 50/60s music and dancing nurtured, and to organise quality events. The Club prospered, and now has a membership numbering in the hundreds.
As well as regular dances, we organise a wide range of events for the enjoyment of our members. These have included, Rock ’n Roll Balls at the Adelaide Town Hall, steam train day trips, Tasmanian fly/drive holiday, Old Tailem town, Hot Rod show and dance, ten day caravan/camping Safari, Rock ’n Roll Festival, and fun filled theme and tribute nights, to name a few.
Our quarterly magazine contains club news, Rock ’n Roll information, interesting articles, and colour features.
Club clothing, both casual and formal is available for purchase at Club nights and selected events.
If you enjoy the music and dancing of the 50’s, and are looking to broaden your social interests, the Adelaide Rock ’n Roll Club is for you.
Membership application forms are available for download direct from the website.
